Snoop Sneaks Out To His Car To Listen To The Last Song You Thought He’d Listen To

May 22, 2020 by Andrea Leave a Comment

Parents everywhere are wondering when school will start again. The stress of kids and partners all being in a confined space for such a long period of time has led some of us to go a little batty. Even celebrities aren’t immune with their giant houses and endless activities.

Just the other day I had to hide in the closet to have a little peace and quiet for myself. We just aren’t used to being all together 24/7 like people may have been in past generations. We need to give ourselves some grace and take care of our mental health!

Snoop proves that he’s just one of us when he posted this amazing video on Instagram. There’s nothing more relatable than this right now!

When Snoop posted himself listening to this song alone in his car on his Instagram page I’ve never felt I could relate to him more! Sometimes we all just have to LET IT GO.

But, seriously, when your partner or kids or dog are just driving you nuts the best thing you can do for everyone involved is go lock yourself in your car and do something to relax your mind. Snoop definitely has the right idea here!

If you can’t have a few laughs by watching silly videos, or do something in your living room to get your whole family into a good mood then you have to take the most drastic measures of all. Listen to the Frozen soundtrack. That’s right. Snoop D-O-double G Dog listens to Frozen to chill out. Just watch!

Let it go

How have you taken time outs for yourself lately?? Have you been able to get away and relax? Even for a moment? If not then throw this Dr. Seuss reading on for the kids and take a breather for yourself!

I Wonder What’s Inside Your Butthole Song

May 7, 2020 by Marissa Leave a Comment

Well who knew that what we were really missing from this crazy world of ours was an adorable singer songwriter wondering what’s inside your butthole.

via GIPHY

Let’s first start with the cutie’s sweet face. She’s adorable. Toting that classical guitar and singing her heart out. But then you start to hear the actual words coming out of her mouth.

And then you are like, wait, WHAT?!

via GIPHY

That’s right she just said “I wonder what’s inside your butthole.” Not just that but the lyrics continue.

via GIPHY

“Maybe there is astronauts.”

via GIPHY

“Maybe there is aliens. All inside your butthole. What’s inside your butthole. I always want to know. What’s inside your butthole. I always want to know” That’s right she’s always wanted to know lol.

Okay I’m dying laughing over here. So if you didn’t already just scroll down to the video. With no further delay I present to you “I Wonder What’s Inside Your Butthole” by Lisa Rieffel’s kid.

Oh but it doesn’t just end with that fun Diddy. There are remixes. That’s right we’ve got people jumping on board mixing the kiddo and singing toned down versions of the jam themselves!

We loved this and did our own version. https://t.co/pBaB0FCIEP pic.twitter.com/sNPGPIoPbu

I do believe this is exactly what the internet was made for.

If Adults Acted Like Kids

April 25, 2020 by Marissa Leave a Comment

Do you ever wonder what life would be like if adults acted like kids?

One women took all the bizarre things she’s witnessed her kids doing and made it into an absolutely hilarious video!

via GIPHY

I’m laughing so hard watching her do the familiar stuff that my own kids do that makes me go, “what in the actual world!?”.

via GIPHY

Like the tooth paste thing, why on earth do they do that!?

Can you even imagine if our co-workers did these things? Ahahaha. I have loved reading people describing the crazy things their kids have been doing.

My #coworker spent the day in a pair of bikini underwear that is two sizes too small for him. When I asked him to put clothes on he laughed and ate my snack. #workingfromhome #kidcoworkers

— stephanie lockwood (@luciferal) March 18, 2020

I am cracking up watching her recreated her kids antics. I know for myself I often times look over at my own kids and think, I sure hope they grow out of THAT.

I always wondered how our bathroom mirror ended up like that but yup that totally explains all of it.

If Adults Acted Like Kids Funny Video

Every time I rewatch it I notice something else bizarre that I’ve seen my kids do.

Which is your favorite part? My husband feels the cereal part so hard. Hahahaha.

Quarantine Songs Disney Style

April 23, 2020 by Stef Leave a Comment

We all know and love the Holderness family, am I right? They always seem to know just how “real life” is looking. Recently, it was “Next time we wear pants it’s gonna be May” (hey, that’s only a week away now!) Now, they’ve come out with a musical medley and it has us rolling on the floor laughing.

A twist on the words to some of our very favorite Disney classics has us all in stitches. Who doesn’t love a little Lumiere singing about top notch dining service?

via GIPHY

Except Penn Holderness – donning a very French mustache – certainly isn’t singing about being our guest; instead it’s “wear a mask” and OH! the bit about the broccoli florets – hahahaha. Then it’s a quick (and sloppy) costume change while we take off on Aladdin’s carpet ride…..or actually, not so much beyond the bathroom.

Throw a little Moana hopefulness and some Lion King glove love in the mashup and then get ready for the grand finale! It’s time to end with a little Rapunzel and you are going to die when you hear what they’ve come up with for this part. Complete with an unruly blonde braid and some extra ad libbing, this fun performance ends with a surprise that will make you want to go back and rewatch Tangled all over again. The Holderness family has pulled it off again – a Disney song parody to keep us smiling throughout the day.

If Disney Songs Were About Quarantine

One day I'll gooooo, hang with my brooooos…

Posted by The Holderness Family on Wednesday, April 22, 2020

We love the twinkle in Penn’s eye when he realizes what he is actually singing during the Tangled twist and we love Kim’s giggling as she tries to quickly and subtly help with the costume changes. At the end, they comment about things being a little chaotic and putting together the video in just one take. We think that one take was all that was needed; I know I certainly enjoyed the light-hearted performance!

Family Creates Relatable Quarantine Parody Song

April 23, 2020 by Andrea Leave a Comment

We’re in our second month of trying to stay home as much as possible. How are you doing? Are you managing to get your supplies and support your local businesses without exposing yourself to germs? It’s been quite a trial for most people. Some people are isolated alone and others have a house full. How many are with you right now?

Families are starting to go a little stir crazy. Siblings are getting along better than ever. (Did you fall out of your seat laughing at that one?)

via GIPHY

I just love that social isolation fighting GIF. It cracks me up every time! Always stay 6 feet away, even when fighting! SNL has had some funny quarantine skits!

A lot of people and families have turned to writing and performing songs, skits and other fun entertainment. Thank you to all of you who are contributing to our happiness by making these fun little videos! You’re making life more positive and renewing our faith in humanity. Thanks for staying home when you can!

I don’t know much about this family other than there are 4 of them. The son plays the guitar while the mom and daughter sing. Dad performs typical dad joke physical comedy in the background.

The lyrics are so relatable. You’ll see yourself in all of them. “Uh, you guys, I think we finished Netflix.” Ha! I’m not quite there yet. I’ve been spending more time watching funny home videos and the Not My Hands Challenge.

Quarantine Vacation for Mum

April 22, 2020 by Marissa Leave a Comment

Every mom at some point just needs a vacation. But when quarantine hits sometimes that just doesn’t seem to be in the cards.

island beach vacation with boat

Rox has had a week. Sick kid who hasn’t been sleeping. Stuck at home trying to make the best of the whole situation. But when it comes down to it she’s in desperate need of a break and some rest.

Luckily her, her husband has something up his sleeve. It is so stinking fun to watch it all be revealed!

Under the guise of cleaning his car he’s spent the last few hours setting up a vacation. He’s thought of everything to make the car a tropical haven. And it put just the perfect about of pep back in my step today.

Must Haves For a Tropical Mom Getaway

So what exactly are the essentials when planning a rejuvenating vacation, er, staycation for a mum in isolation? Here you go.

  • A place to wiggle your feet in the sand
  • A hot guy by your side
  • A spot under an umbrella
  • Delicious Adult beverages
  • A couple great beach reads
  • Snacks. Lots of Snacks
  • A view of the beach

Check. Check. And Check. Okay I think. he hit them all! Tell me if there’s anything else you’d add to the list that we missed.

I just love how the exhaustion in her whole demeanor you can see at the beginning of the video is completely lifted. By the end her whole face is a glow and she’s full of smiles.

What an absolute treat!

So where would do you want to go on your next vacation? I’ve heard that Bonaire is absolute stunning. And Puerto Rico is supposed to be great too! Or maybe over to Florida and hit up the Wizarding World of Harry Potter?

Until then maybe you too can transform a space at home into a relaxing getaway!

The Next Time We Wear Pants It’s Gonna Be May- Quarantine Parody

April 22, 2020 by Marissa Leave a Comment

Tell the truth, did you wear pants today? No stretchy pants don’t count.

If you’re like most of the world these days, you are living in your comfy quarantine uniform. For me that’s been leggings, leggings and more leggings. My husband though is fully embracing the elastic banded joggers.

When will we put on real pants again? Good question.

Thankfully our favorite family The Holderness Family has something to say about that. The family famous for their light hearted musical parodies that poke fun at the ins and outs of everyday family life is at it again bringing totally relatable silliness to one of the catchiest tunes.

Set to the melody of NSYNC’s It’s Gonna Be Me, we get the answer to the question of the hour. It’s gonna be May, or June, or July before we put pants on again.

What about the part where he’s dancing and she’s all “it’s a lot, it’s just a lot” lol. Not sure about you but I feel that so much lately about every move from the other people in this house. So, so much.

What was your favorite part? I think the slow slide down the stairs was mine. Too good.

Street Artist Blows us Away by Playing Hallelujah on Water Glasses

April 21, 2020 by Stef 2 Comments

We can’t imagine a better surprise than walking down the cobblestone streets of a charming European town and meeting a street artist practicing the unlikely talent of playing music on none other than, your typical crystal glassware!

A passerby seems to have caught this fellow on video at the start of his rendition of one of my personal favorite songs. Hallelujah, written by Canadia singer, Leonard Cohen was originally released in 1984, and has gained huge popularity through various artists’ works over the years. The song is haunting and soul-gripping and now we get to hear it on this street artist’s instrument of choice.

You can see the jugs of water in the background that this musician uses to fill his glasses – wonder how long it takes to get them filled just right and how often does evaporation (or rain!) alter their sound so that they need to be adjusted. Well, this guys is ready to play and after a quick warmup stroke across the tabletop, he starts the main performance.

What talent! And here we thought Sandra Bullock had talent when she played the water glasses on stage during her beauty contest bit in the 2000 film, Miss Congeniality. It amazes us that this guy can play trills and riffs without missing a beat. If we weren’t watching, we’d have bet money on their being at least 3 or 4 people playing here.

The vibrations when the rim of the glass is touched make a sound wave as the movement travels through the water in the glass. More water in the glass means that the sound wave travels slower and you’ll hear a lower note, while less water in the glass produces a higher pitched note as the sound waves travel faster. If you’d like to get your own start on this fun musical instrument, here is a great beginner setup to make music with water glasses.

Dr. Dre Style Fox in Socks Rap is Everything Right in the World

April 21, 2020 by Andrea Leave a Comment

There has been nothing that gives me more joy this week than Fox in Socks rapped over Dr. Dre‘s song, What’s the Difference. This is everything right in the world. I just want to put this on my playlist and listen to it in the car with the windows rolled down. I’ll throw my arm out the window to wave it in the wind while dancing in my seat to these beats. Maybe I’ll put it on repeat and sip some lemonade on the porch. It just gives you positive vibes in a time when there aren’t many of those around.

Wes Tank is the brilliant artist behind this video. I’m his new biggest fan. He raps a lot of different Dr. Seuss books! I can’t decide which is my favorite! Green Eggs and Ham is a contender! As is The Lorax, Cat in the Hat, and One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. They’re all amazing. I just love watching his facial expressions and hearing his interpretation of every song. But you can also follow along reading while he sings.

“Wes Tank raps Dr. Seuss’ classic children’s book “Fox in Sox” over Dr. Dre’s legendary hip hop beats for “What’s the Difference” and “Let Me Ride” with much due respect to the flows and styles of Dr. Dre, Eminem, Xzibit and Snoop Dogg. All words and illustrations belong to Dr. Seuss. All instrumentals belong to Dr. Dre. This cultural mashup was created by TankThink for edutainment purposes.”

Green Eggs and Ham Rap has us all Rapping Along

April 20, 2020 by Andrea Leave a Comment

Green Eggs and Ham is one of the most famous Dr. Seuss books. I think nearly every English speaker in the world has had it read to them at least once. This book was first published in 1960 and has sold over 8 million copies. It is the 4th best selling English language children’s hardcover book. This is the year of it’s 60th anniversary!

Green Eggs and Ham is one of Dr. Seuss’s beginner books. It’s written with simple words. In fact there are only 50 different words in the book. That makes it perfect for little ones and those who are struggling with reading. It’s fun and engaging. It’ll always produce a laugh!

This classic book is the impetus behind many gross looking meals people have endured through the years during Dr. Seuss week. Did you ever have green eggs and ham?

While green eggs may not tempt you, this rap version will! Wes Tank is back with another AMAZING rap to Dr. Dre beats. This one is Dr. Dre ft. Snoop Dogg – Still D.R.E. A classic set to a classic. You don’t need to love Dr. Dre and Snoop dog to love the instrumental beat. Listen and tell us what you think! Then listen to his other masterpieces!

  • Fox in Sox
  • One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish
  • Cat in the Hat
  • The Lorax

“Wes Tank raps Dr. Seuss’ classic children’s book “Green Eggs and Ham” over Dr. Dre’s legendary hip hop beat for “Forgot About Dre” with much due respect to the flows and styles of Dr. Dre and Eminem. Words and illustrations belong to Dr. Seuss. Instrumental belongs to Dr. Dre. This cultural mashup was created by TankThink for edutainment purposes.”

Green Eggs and Ham Rap

We can’t wait to see what he comes up with next! Maybe The Grinch Who Stole Christmas?? Yes, please! Love this? Support Wes Tank through Patreon! He’s making these raps for our entertainment for free.
