Many people are chomping at the bit to get out of the house and do some physical activity! We’ve been stuck in quarantine Groundhog Day for weeks and weeks now. Many places are slowly beginning to open and in order to make sure the public is being safe while participating in sports and activities, counties are setting out guidelines to limit germ exposure.
This Nassau County Executive Laura Curran stumbled into a hilarious explanation of how to handle balls when you hit the tennis courts. Halfway through her speech she realized how inappropriate her suggestions were sounding and she could barely hold it together.

Let’s not forget the part where she cups her hand to show us how to handle the balls. I don’t think she’ll be forgetting that part anytime soon either.
Viewers were left laughing in their homes at the awkward speech. It’s been a while since we were all in grade school but it sure felt like the teacher said something funny about balls and we all laughed. Do you remember doing that?

As she said, if you’re from the same household, you can feel free to touch each other’s balls. But if you aren’t, you should use a sharpie to mark an X on your balls so nobody else touches them.
That’s right. Go grab your sharpies!

But wait! It get’s better.
You can kick their balls but you can’t touch them. That’s right. Don’t worry about kicking their balls.
Thankfully she noticed how her references to balls was beginning to sound so she tried her best to insert “tennis” before the word “ball” every time. But she still had a hard time not cracking herself up! Watch this short clip yourself and see if you can watch without giggling.
